1.When did you realize you were interested in art?
I guess you can say I’ve always been interested because my father is artistic. He would let my brothers & I sit around to watch him draw. I was always curious in the process as a child.

2. Why skulls?
I call these skeletal like characters EHxPRESSIONS. I wanted to relate to all people. If you strip away color of skin, religious beliefs, gender, age, etc….you will see the skeletal structure. It’s the true identity of the human race & I depict the characters in an abstract world filled with colors which represent emotion or the story related to this character. It’s like they are forever soul searching in an abstract world they can’t put a label on.

3. What Influences you and where do you get your inspiration?
interpret what I’ve learned, seen, or experienced throughout my life. It’s a never ending story because I believe knowledge is important & there’s so much more to learn all the time.
4. What made you keep your art b&w on your IG?image2
People who show up to events deserve a good show & that can only happen if you see the work in person. A 5ftx8ft canvas looks different on a phone. Plus you can’t go wrong with black & white…
5.Who are your top 5 favorite artists?
#5 Banksy because of his message. #4 Keith Haring inspired me to create my own character & semiotic symbols. #3 Jackson Pollack because of his astractions. #2 Picasso reminded me to paint like a child. #1 Basquiat inspired me to paint how I see the world at the moment.
6. If you could work with anyone dead or alive who would it be?
Tupac Shakur
7. What differentiates you from other aimage6rtists?
Nothing. We’re all soul searching in this world & we’re limited to only 5 senses..
8. What impact do you wish to leave with your art?
There’s no words to explain what art has done for me but I would like to give that feeling back to someone else or even the world. When it comes to art whether you’re the painter or the viewer, it has to mean something to you. So I guess I’d like to be remembered.
