“What have you been up to?”
The question itself is harmless, but when you don’t feel as if you’ve been making real progress or you lack real motivation at the time, this question can be a haunting one, forcing you to confront yourself right at that moment and deal with what you perceive as your mediocrity. For the past few years, I never felt ready to answer the question. I would tell myself I need a solution now and therefore I must look at what I have right now, not what I would need to develop, because that wouldn’t benefit my survival. The obvious truth is if you don’t plant a seed the tree won’t grow or if you get in a car and don’t start driving somewhere you won’t get anywhere, but often we forget this principle when it comes to life. Remember never to be discouraged by what you have yet to do, especially to the point of not starting it. Consistent, channeled energy has to manifest reality. Start today because 2 years later you will look back and wish you started 2 years ago!
