1. Who are a few of your favorite photographers?

I’d say @_DDesigns_ and @Brandonwoelfel are currently two of my favorite photographers on Twitter. They both consistently impress and inspire me to further develop myself as an artist with their works.

2. When are you happiest?

I’m at my happiest when I’m bringing my ideas to life through photography, or really through any medium of creative expression.

3. How old were you when you first picked up a camera?

I was about 12 years when I first got my hands on my own personal point-and-shoot camera. Prior to that I would just use my family camera whenever I had the chance

4. What do you think was the greatest era of music?

I think the current era of music is the greatest honestly. The diversity that’s demonstrated in music is an ever-growing phenomena and hearing the new and innovative styles that people provide today puts me in a state of awe that leads me to love this age of music more and more with every song.

5. What is your thought process going into a shoot?

For all my shoots I always try to make sure that I’m utilizing my settings to the best of my abilities. Another thing I try to do is make sure that people who agree to model for me feel comfortable enough in front of the camera because the emotions of everyone play into the overall composition of the photo.

6. Which decade does your style most reflect?

I’d say my style reflects this decade solely because this is the decade that my photography came into being and my work is influenced by what I see in my life in the present day.

7. Dragon Ball Z or Naruto?

In terms of storyline I’d have to say it’s a really close but Naruto gets the pick…but for the sake of nostalgia I have to say Dragon Ball Z since I grew up with that before Naruto came around.

1. Canon or Nikon?

Canon definitely better for video. I use film cameras for photography now, can’t beat that film quality.

2. What do you like shooting the most?

Short films, I feel anyone can direct a music video now but telling a story or working with trained actors is very different. Short films can be tricky because the same format you write for movies doesn’t usually work because of the pacing.

3. Who’s your favorite movie director?

Quentin Tarantino or Martin Scorsese

4. What’s your favorite fruit?

Mangos

5. Would you ever consider modeling?

Of course.

6. Has being a videographer made you more observant of your surroundings?

Yea. I always try to look for locations and write it down in my phone for future reference.

7.What’s one thing you never leave the house without (besides your camera)?

Beats by Dre headphones.

8.What songs are in your music rotation as of now?

I been listening to a lot of oldies lately but I’ve been listening to a lot of Tame Impala I just got put on.

When did you realize you were interested in art?

I’ve been interested in photography since the age of 15.

How do you find beauty in a ugly world?

My studies in photography have shaped that mindset, I’ve learned that depending on the lighting and angle at which you view something it can be made to seem dynamic even if it’s something as mundane as an empty can on the street. In my opinion everything that exists has the potential to be “beautiful” you just have to look for it and in some instances the beauty of something will be widely agreed on and some instances it wont.

What Influences you and where do you get your inspiration?

My desire to be and do better is what I would say influences me, as far as my inspiration it comes from all over. I draw inspiration from other artists, nature, ordinary people, etc.

4. Who is one person you dream of shooting with?

Cocaine Lorraine (@lorraine_sd) as a model and Shamayim (@shamayim) as a photographer.

Who are your top 5 favorite artists?

I don’t really have a top 5, I try not to rank the artists who I like and there are so many talented artists. Side note I try to keep my admiration to peoples art and not them if I don’t know them personally.

What differentiates you from different artist?

In my opinion all artists are different but my willingness to create is what helps me stand out. I don’t constrict myself with budgets or who stands to gain from the creation of the work and things of that nature.
