MuhTeyOh ~ O2′ DTS (Video Release)

From the start, it is evident what this music video will entail. Obviously a group of guys having a good time, with their 02′ DTS. Despite the generally simplistic theme, this type of music video is tricky to successfully shoot. It can either have been a mess of unnecessary, choppy scenes that leave you with a headache by the time the (hopefully) brief three minutes are up, or be visually appealing and complement the good-natured antics. 02′ DTS was definitely the latter. The video itself is very reflective of the song; starting out simplistic and then progressing into something more complex at the same rate as the music behind it. All this is managed to be done whilst displaying phenomenal visuals and impeccable editing. This video is impressive to say the least, and definitely worth the wait. Congrats on reaching 10,000 Soundcloud plays! Maryland take a bow and let’s all collectively “whip through the 3 doing our thang!”

2. Where did the moniker ‘King Bounge’ come from?

Couple things; it describes this wolf-king character I draw that is kinda like a Bounge mascot, also people have referred to me as the “king” for killing beats.

3.  At what point did you realize art was your calling?

Day one.

4. What are a few of your short-term creative goals?

Right now I just want to flesh out all of the songs I’ve already recorded for my album, finalize them and then feel the freedom to start new projects. I also want to wrap up this video I started with a dope duo for a track coming out on a vinyl compilation.

5.  What is your most memorable moment of 2016?

2016 was intense… one night I had gotten news that an old close friend had died and then I had to work a 12 hr double at one of the three restaurant jobs I had. I had to put off grieving all day because I was at work, so when I got off, I stopped down a side street to sob. This bunch of like 10 or so kids road up on bikes, surrounded me, and realized I was crying. I told them why and they all just put their bikes down and talked to me. For me it was the highlight of a horrible week… An hour later they ended up trying to jump someone I know nearby.

6. What three words best describe your personality?

Raw, empathetic, hungry

7.  When you die what do you want people to remember you for?

Kindness. I want to make a dent in any evil by taking all opportunities to help others.

8.  Fuck, Marry, Kill: Shaggy, Chip Skylark, Johnny Bravo

Kill: only know who shaggy is n don’t relate to him

I’d say @_DDesigns_ and @Brandonwoelfel are currently two of my favorite photographers on Twitter. They both consistently impress and inspire me to further develop myself as an artist with their works.

2. When are you happiest?

I’m at my happiest when I’m bringing my ideas to life through photography, or really through any medium of creative expression.

3. How old were you when you first picked up a camera?

I was about 12 years when I first got my hands on my own personal point-and-shoot camera. Prior to that I would just use my family camera whenever I had the chance

4. What do you think was the greatest era of music?

I think the current era of music is the greatest honestly. The diversity that’s demonstrated in music is an ever-growing phenomena and hearing the new and innovative styles that people provide today puts me in a state of awe that leads me to love this age of music more and more with every song.

5. What is your thought process going into a shoot?

For all my shoots I always try to make sure that I’m utilizing my settings to the best of my abilities. Another thing I try to do is make sure that people who agree to model for me feel comfortable enough in front of the camera because the emotions of everyone play into the overall composition of the photo.

6. Which decade does your style most reflect?

I’d say my style reflects this decade solely because this is the decade that my photography came into being and my work is influenced by what I see in my life in the present day.

7. Dragon Ball Z or Naruto?

In terms of storyline I’d have to say it’s a really close but Naruto gets the pick…but for the sake of nostalgia I have to say Dragon Ball Z since I grew up with that before Naruto came around.
